Brittney Hiller loves to laugh and what a better reason to join her than for a great cause? Recently, her best friend Jessica Mattson received a double lung transplant that offers her a new lease on life and a second chance to truly laugh!
Jessica has requested the assistance of COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) to help cover transplant related expenses. When you attend Laughing 4 Lungs a portion of the proceeds will benefit COTA in Honor of Jessica M.
What is Laughter Yoga? Laughter Yoga combines Unconditional Laughter with Yogic Breathing (Pranayama).
Laughter can be done for no reason, without relying on humor or comedy. Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group; with eye contact and childlike playfulness as important factors, it soon develops into real and contagious laughter. The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between self-induced and real laughter.
No Yoga Mat required, just a playful attitude and an ability to share a laugh with others!
