Homework for the week:

Share three laughter yoga exercises with family or friends.

Remember to lead the session - you are the sole leader of the group, therefore encourage participants to only communicate through laughter.

A quick Laughter Yoga Explanation for you to use:

  • It is a fun new exercise system sweeping the world

  • We laugh as an exercise, but authentic laughter quickly develops

  • We use 4 Key Elements in Laughter Yoga

  1. Eye Contact​

  2. Breathing (Show belly breath)

  3. Clapping (Add clapping and Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha, advise that this will be the alert for the end of each exercise.)

  4. Child-Like Playfulness: Laughter is not about laughing. It is actually about cultivating childlike playfulness. Once you learn to play, you don’t have to laugh. Laughter will be the natural outcome of your playful inner child.
